"Miriam?? Ah kaya pala"

I was having the time of my life in Kenny Rogers (Katipunan) with my blockmates. I was seated beside jaymie (Left), and a vacant table to my right. I got up and made my way to the counter. I took jaymie's money and ordered for her since she volunteered to look after our stuff. I ordered Combo number 3 for jaymie: thigh part, classic, plain rice, coke and mashed potato. I ordered the same except for : java rice (tama ba?), ice tea and corn and carrots for my side dish. When i returned into our table, i saw a bag seated on my chair, then the empty table beside me was now occupied by two old ladies. Ando, i asked the lady who was seated nearer to our table:

taj : (in a very warm and gentle voice, na minsan ko lng po ipamalas, ano!) hello mam, good afternoon po, uhm is this your bag po? ^_^

Old lady: (In a monsterous tone) Yes, y?

.

taj: (still in the same tone, but kinda confuse of what im goin to say) ah, kasi po chair ko po yan.

.

Ehem, i was expecting for her to say, "oh, yha, im sorry, could you just pull a chair for yourself." (Gently). Pero that is not what happened ano!..

Old lady: There are so many chairs around, why don't you just pull a chair!!!

.

Taj: Ah.. ok po sige po. ok na po.

.

Then i got a chair from the other table. Jaymie and I began talking about what happened. The old day AGAIN talked in a very annoying tone. Monsterous that is!

Old Lady: Excuse me! Excuse me! You seem displeased of what happened. What if i'll do what you did to me, are you going tobe happy?!!! (Duh! ano kaya ginawa ko? Sha na nga ung nanguha ng chair ng may chair sa table ng may table eh!)

taj: Ah, ok na po, sige na po. I have a chair na po. So ok na po..

.

Old lady: There are three more chairs infront of you oh!

.

taj: ah o sige po. ok na po.

.

Carol, Mabebs and Princess finally returned. Then we started eating and buzz about how small the chickens are now in kenny. It seems that their SIDE dish is now bigger than their chickens and also, there is no ice in our ICE tea. wahah! Suddenly the Old lady spoke again.

Old lady: Excuse me. Excuse me. Excuse me (Wahaha, we didn't hear her at first because we are just so happy that we were able to eat together outside MC.)

Old Lady: Are you from the Ateneo?!!

.

Carol: No po.

.

Old Lady: From where are you then?!

.

Mabebs: Miriam College po.

.

Old Lady: Ah. (Miriam) KAYA PALA!

taj: ah ok po ^.^

Old Lady: We are professors of UP diliman!

.

taj: Ah. ok po ^.^

Old lady: Professors kami from UP.

.

Taj:Ah, oo nga po (Duh! what does she want me to say)

.

Oh! so what does she mean by that? Do i/we have to bow down to her because she is from UP and we are from Miriam? And what does she mean by, "Ah, (Miriam) KAYA PALA!" Is she thinking that i am an ill-mannered girl because i came from Miriam? Duh! she must be really thankful because my family and my schools (Marcopper and Miriam) educated me well. They have instilled in me that i should respect others, espcially who are those older than me no matter what.. HAY nako! Grabe! Grabe talga!

She is so HAMBOG!
